The Dickinson County Board of Supervisors issued a proclamation today supporting Governor Reynolds's proclamation which encouraged the wearing of masks to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Below is the text of the proclamation:

December 2, 2020
Whereas, Governor Kim Reynolds, on November 18, 2020, issued a Proclamation of Disaster Emergency stating that the risk of transmission of COVID-19 may be substantially reduced by adjusting appropriate public health measures regarding, among other things, public gatherings and the wearing of face masks while in public, and to ensure that businesses take appropriate health precautions while remaining open, AND
Whereas, the Dickinson County Board of Supervisors fully supports Governor Reynolds efforts to curb COVID-19 in the State of Iowa and Dickinson County, and further supports the restrictions and measures put in place by Governor Reynolds on November 18, 2020, AND
Whereas, the Dickinson County Board of Supervisors believes the restrictions and measures contained in Governor Reynolds Proclamation are applicable and relevant to the businesses and citizens of Dickinson County.
Now, therefore, the Dickinson County Board of Supervisors hereby endorses the Proclamation of Governor Kim Reynolds dated November 18, 2020, and strongly encourages the residents and businesses of Dickinson County to comply with the restrictions and measures contained therein.
